Champion gundog sales & training
|
Richard Claydon - Moved to the Highlands in the 90's to manage one of the premier nucleus pig breeding units in Great Britain. This move presented him with the ideal opportunity to indulge in his passion for breeding and training gundogs.
Breeding Through a successful purchasing and breeding strategy, we have been able to establish a respected Kingcott 'brand' for gundogs, which is recognised both Nationally & Internationally. Whilst our true passion relates to Cockers we are also recognised for successful breeding and training within the Springer world.
Richard has successfully trained his current dogs to become recognised field trial Champions and has bred 'FTCH Kingcott Del' who gained 2nd in the Cocker Championship 2006. Our top breeding bitch, Norleigh Carron of Kingcott has already produced FTCH Willowbee Wren, the Cocker Championship winner of 2005. We have carefully selected a bloodline that has enabled us to produce a dog with natural game-finding ability, that can be easily trained by any enthusiast. As a result, our dogs are valued by both professional and non-professionals alike.
Training We have already trained 2 Field Trial Champions (FTCH Norleigh Celidh and FTCH Kingcott Bella) and a number of field trial winning dogs (both Cockers and Springers). Richard is also a recognised 'non-panel' judge at numerous field trial events. Our training facility is situated in the peaceful surrounds of Rogart set in a 100 acre croft, with all necessary training aids to produce a dog trained to clients requirements. We are able to train Cockers, Springers and Labradors to recognised standards, if required. |
